Prescription Assistance Program
The Greater Killeen Community Clinic Prescription Assistance Program is a partnership with Bell County Indigent Health Services and Metroplex Health System. The mission of the Program is to enable qualified applicants to obtain medications resulting in fewer medical complications due to inability to afford prescription medications, and less utilization of resources at area healthcare facilities.
Prescription assistance programs are offered by pharmaceutical companies for those who cannot afford the cost of prescription medication. There are more than 180 programs offered by pharmaceutical companies. Each program has different eligibility requirements and is available to low-income individuals or families who are uninsured or under-insured. Many programs have the same requirements: income, lack of prescription insurance, U.S. resident or citizen. Income requirements are 200% of federal poverty level (FPL).
The Clinic does not charge any fees for this service. It is underwritten by the Clinic and its partners. For more information about program for prescription assistance contact the Clinic at 254-618-4211.
